Letter from the Founder/CEO
Dear Future Employees,
It’s hard to believe that I started Under His Wings Preschool 7 years ago with only two children and only me as teacher, Director, and owner. Now, here I am today with over 170 children, 33 staff members, and two locations. This has been my dream come true. My primary goal has been to serve the families of New Hampshire and to change the world one child at a time. I feel like I am doing just that.
This year, I am taking on a huge new role for me as being the Founder/CEO of UHW Preschool. I have two amazing directors that will run the day-to-day operations while I start another new adventure and work more “on” the business, rather than “in” the business. Don’t worry, you will still see me from time to time as I never could completely walk away. I love my families and children way too much for that to happen quite yet.
I am excited about the future of UHW Preschool. Miss Katie is the Director of the Gilford location, and she is an amazing director, teacher, and friend. I owe so much of UHW’s success to her. She runs a tight ship, but knows how to have fun. She is a great mentor to all of the teachers, both new and old. You can always reach out to her for any questions or concerns in regard to the Gilford location.
Miss Shannon is the Director of the Loudon location, and she is also an amazing director, teacher, and friend. She helped start the Loudon location this past February and has already done an amazing job at getting it up and running with some great families. Lead Teacher - Infant
Enthusiastic, patient, motivated, dependable, experienced team member that are lead teacher qualified. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 ECE Credits or a CDA. Experienced in strong parent communication, age-appropriate lesson planning and providing a loving, nurturing environment required. We are a play-based learning Preschool that focus on Integrity, Relationships, Family. And Play.
Lead Preschool Teacher
Enthusiastic, patient, motivated, dependable, experienced team member that are lead teacher qualified. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 ECE Credits or a CDA. Experienced in strong parent communication, age-appropriate lesson planning and providing a loving, nurturing environment required. 2-3 Year old Assistant
You must have knowledge of childcare, be a team player, and have a positive attitude. Above all you must Love Children and be silly!
Preschool Assitant
You must have knowledge of childcare, be a team player, and have a positive attitude. Above all you must Love Children and be silly!
Substitute Teacher
You must have knowledge of childcare, with at least 9 credits in ECE, be a team player, and have a positive attitude. Above all you must Love Children and be silly!
Toddler Assistant
You must have knowledge of childcare, be a team player, and have a positive attitude. Above all you must Love Children and be silly!
Floater
Flexible person who has a passion for children. Willing to go where needed, ECE credits preferred but not required. Training will be provided must be willing to learn.
